It was a fun day with friends. Their menu is really soulfood delicious. You have to get there within the first two hours of opening as they run out of items quickly and I can understand why. We had the baked jerk chicken, porkchops, chicken tenders, and chicken wings, with variety of veggies (collards, Mac & cheese, green beans, yellow rice, and potato salad) and it was all good. You can't go wrong with anything you choose. It is not a typical dine-in space especially for large groups, but up to four can eat together if it's not crowded. They have about six tables in the center of the shopping center. We chose to eat there as we were just out and about for the day and made the most of the experience. So glad we did, and we shopped in the surrounding stored after.
Went here last Saturday and the food was to perfection, Chicken was crispy and macaroni was to perfection. Today Friday, the food was absolutely disgusting, Macaroni was so buttery and greasy that is was not edible whatsoever TRASH and the chicken was simply greasy like the butter managed to seep through the air to the chicken by some grand miracle. You can visibly tell the macaroni is too buttery and disgusting by just looking at the pan. When it came out the oven they should have immediately threw it into the garbage instead of serving it to people but I guess they're willing to destroy their reputation in order to make a buck. Unfortunate, I thought I finally found a good black owned soul food but I guess that just doesn't exist.
My wife and I Definitely found our soul food Sunday spot! I went into the marketplace mall to get my phone screen fixed and followed the smell. Everything was hot and flavorful. Happy wife happy life. Much appreciated
Just left with my strawberry wings, Mac and cheese and baked beans. I must say the food is amazing! My wings were dropped fresh and the sauce is was saucing! The owners and staff was super nice! If you haven’t given them a try please do immediately. I will be back soon!
The food was fresh, flavorful, and seasoned perfectly. My favorite is the fried whiting fish with wet lemon pepper sauce and old bay seasoning paired with Mac and cheese, collard greens, and baked beans. The potato salad is also amazing. You can tell she put real care into every meal. The portions were generous, the staff was friendly and welcoming, and the atmosphere felt comfortable and inviting. Everything was full of flavor. If you’re looking for authentic soul food with great customer service, I definitely recommend giving Top Tier Eatery a try. I’ll definitely be coming back!
Customer service was excellent. I ordered the Honey Old Bay Wings, seafood salad, and mac and cheese my meal was amazing. My husband enjoyed his meal as well. If you have not tried Top Tier Eatery you are truly missing out on this hidden gem. I can’t wait to come back and visit you all very soon.
Let me start off with the positive. The mac and cheese was good as always! This was my second time eating here and the mac and cheese is a must buy! Unfortunately, everything else fell flat. The fish was fried nicely, but was a little on the salty side. The green beans were waaaaayyyyy too salty! I mean to the point where I couldn’t eat them, they weren’t fresh either. Most disappointing thing was the lemonade- it was basically sugar water. Nearly $30 down the drain. I will still go there for the mac and cheese though.
Had a great experience. The first time I went was January 5. I was in the mall just looking around and thought I’d try their place out. The owner and staff where friendly and kind. I walked away with hot wings and went back for macaroni and cheese. The macaroni and cheese is absolutely delirious. My wings were crispy, hot fresh and tossed in hot sauce. They were delicious. I had to share it with my friends and coworkers great place to get fresh food.
Came to try this place about a month ago after being recommended to come here by several people, the hours were not correct according to google so I decided to give it another try recently. They opened at 12pm and unbeknownst to me they were only available for brunch in which I came for lunch. The fish was under seasoned and not fresh, the potato salad tasted like onions, and the cabbage was not to my liking taste wise. The chicken wings were okay and the Mac n cheese was decent. They didn’t have bread for my fish, and they spent 30-45 preparing 2 plates of food after waiting for them to start serving lunch entrees after already being there since 12:15. The cashier had very great customer service but the food was not worth the wait.
